Well summer has almost passed us by and fall is just around the corner. Some members of our chapter went to the Elvis Festival and to the Heritage Days in Ypsilanti. We had fun and meetings at both. We are pleased that Linda Mealing is going to be our delegate for the convention and this will be her first time at a NAPH Convention. I think it will be a good experience for her. David is our alternate. He has had a lot of experience, just a little humor folks.
We are getting ready to have a fundraiser soon. We are having a sale of used clothes and other things. Some are being donated by our church and other people.
We are still visiting nursing and group homes. We take turns on that and try to go together when we officers can.
We still have some t-shirts to sell.
We haven't forgotten about guardianship corruption. Just took time off this summer. We hope everyone has a real good time and we all remember why we are here: to work at keeping NAPH alive. Gerri Meadows –Franklin, Chapter President |
