mal writes "When I moved here I was atracted by the rent control in government housing. Never considered the door width of the doors until I delveloped gait ataxcia and had to use a seat type walker. This happened 2 months after I moved here. suddenly I was so gratful I lived here, adjusting to no balnce was bad' enough but at least I could move freely through the rooms of Friendship Manor near Frandor off Michigan, Lansing.Mi. It just goes to show one never knows when one is going to need that kind of accesibility and that it is important for all not just the elderly. Also thank God for Spectran our special mobility local lift eqipped bus service, door to door. I was already using it because of photophobia which prevents me from driveing, but needed even more once I lost my balance. My sister who is a counselor, once told me we are all TEP meaning today we may be able bodied, but that can dfisappear tomorrow. Now I truly understand what that means. TEP means temporarily enemabled persons. Thank you for your time. I din,t know about the Community Chioce Act until I read the article here I will contact Debbie Stabalow immediately on her stand on this bill. Thanks for a great site. sincerely mal"
