I know all of you will not agree with this information but I feel this is very important that we all keep an open mind in this matter. Kathleen is a member of my chapter with no family. Her helper Anne has been let go.

Kathleen has already been told Anne has been let go along with a lot of others and there are going to be many changes and cut backs. She is receiving a list next week. You should be receiving the same information soon. In order to stay out here and be independent it’s going to be a new game with new rules and those who can not accept that are going to lose their freedom. I tell you this not to scare you but to make you see how very fortunate you are for all the care you receive. We have had done so much for so long that you have come to think that its supposed to be this way and you know better...for all of us...for the way of life we have known for so long it is coming to an end. We now enter into a struggle against the evil we have for so long in our life heard about but only saw the edges of it. Unless we fight and fight hard against what is happening all in the name of for the common good our life as we know it is over.

You will be told you are a hate monger...you hate blacks...you don't care about other people...you will be belittled...anything it takes for these people to get their way and turn our country from one of freedom to slavery. You now are in a position to help spread this message and need to have as many of the answers as you can to the people who do not see what is happening for what it really is. You have seen the days when people with disabilities were told you are not welcome here. Leave. You have now seen the days where all the struggles made society understand the value of all human beings. That is being changed now and unless many push back it will be the death of many. Many times in our history we have seen this same thing happen and happen in just the same way as it is now happening in America. Use your time and energy to educate those who can not see what this is actually about. You have not lived all these years and had all these experiences for no reason nor did God give you the life He did to waste worrying about stuff that has no value. I, as President of NAPH Michigan Area, need to get this whole organization on board as to what is happening in our country and what it means to people with disabilities and seniors. This so called health care bill can not pass in any form or it is the end of life as we know it for many, many people. I myself don't care as I have no intention of taking the drugs or anything else this government has to offer but there are many who are dependent now on the many services offered and without them can not remain independent.

I feel the need to try to make you understand that this is where this so called health care bill is going. It is going to limit services to people based on age and condition. We have people 80 or more years old able to live independent due to the fact if they break their hip they have surgery and are able in a few days to begin therapy and walk again. It used to be you broke a hip, you laid in bed until it healed. It never healed correctly and people died from pneumonia, bed sores, etc., never able to walk again. Same thing with knee replacements. No matter if we believe in these procedures or not at least they are there available for those who want them. That is all going to change.

This health care bill is not about helping people, it is about limiting care to those this administration deems as less than valuable life..non tax payers. They intend to help those who can work and pay into the system to keep the elite going. The first question to be asked is "will those in power live by this same system and the answer is no". They will, with our tax dollars, continue to have choices of the best doctors and the best care while the rest of us are offered government care which consists of someone in government deciding for your doctor what he can do to help you. Unless all in Washington live by this same system, the answer is no ...and no and no.

As you see for the first time there will be no cost of living increase in Social Security yet all costs have risen and will continue to rise. These people care more about saving polar bears and some small fish in California then they do human beings and they use our money to do it. We have people now advising the president that animals should have attorneys and be able to sue people. We have people stating that it is not the right of human beings to decide how many children they can have. That needs to be determined by people in power. If the American people do not wake up and see what this is really about we are gong to be slaves to the elite who use the cover of caring to ensnare and entrap for their own glory.

Last of all speak of God and demonstrate His power and glory every opportunity you have. It is only in the end that we will be saved from ourselves by our Creator. Do not be swayed into this separation of state and religion. This is a country founded on Christian principals not any one religion. We first believe we were created by God and He gave us our freedoms and abilities, not this government. Mention our Creator in all ways possible and often...that 14 percent that feels uncomfortable in hearing about a power larger than man is totally free to leave the room. If man is dumb enough to think he is the largest power in this Universe and he created himself, why are any of us respecting that stupidity? If man is the highest power and there is no other, then we are as a people in so much trouble and lost to all hope.

Many years some of us [ I as one fought for many things ] Not to have them taken away by this... SO MI AREA AND NATIONAL NAPH AND FRIENDS..
